As a Merchant Service Field Sales Representative for Foley\βs Faster Payments, you will be responsible for selling our payment processing solutions to merchants in assigned territories. You will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and provide exceptional customer service to existing customers. Your goal will be to meet or exceed monthly sales targets while promoting our brand and products in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
* Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their payment processing needs and present our solutions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and identify cross-selling opportunities
* Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by closing deals and activating new merchant accounts
* Provide excellent customer service and support to resolve any issues or concerns
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies to stay ahead of the competition
* Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of our services
* Manage sales pipeline and track progress using CRM software
* Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our brand and products
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in field sales, preferably in the merchant services or payments industry
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with payment processing / Financial industrys
