Fodafilment, part of the FODA Group, is a specialist fulfilment partner built for controlled FMCG brands. We focus on regulated and shelf-sensitive categories where operational discipline, traceability and accuracy define success. We are a tech-enabled 3PL (third-party logistics) provider offering eCommerce fulfilment (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) case & pallet picking. We ship food, drink, beauty, cosmetics, nutrition, appliances and a variety of consumer-packaged goods.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our client services team and support the delivery of an excellent client experience across a portfolio of fulfilment accounts. You'll work under a Senior Account Manager and closely with our Operations Team, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day client queries while learning the commercial and operational side of account management in a 3PL environment. This is a great role for someone with experience in customer service, logistics, or client-facing roles who wants to build a career in account management within supply chain and fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Support & Communication
- Act as a first point of contact for day-to-day client queries, escalating complex or commercially sensitive issues to the senior Account Manager
- Respond to client emails, calls, and portal queries within agreed SLAs
- Help prepare client-facing reports (e.g. inventory levels, order volumes, SLA performance, dispatch accuracy)
- Attend client calls/meetings, taking notes and following up on actions
- Operational Coordination
- Liaise with warehouse, dispatch, and inventory teams to resolve client queries (stock discrepancies, delayed orders, returns, mislabelled goods, etc.)
- Monitor daily order flow and flag exceptions (order issues, carrier delays, stock shortages) to the relevant team
- Support onboarding of new Clients and/or Products — coordinating between the client and internal ops/warehouse teams
- Track and help resolve client-impacting issues through to completion, keeping the senior AM informed
- Account Administration
- Maintain accurate account records, client notes, and correspondence in the CRM/account management system
- Assist with preparing renewal, review, or QBR (quarterly business review) documentation
- Support basic reporting on account health (order accuracy, on-time dispatch, complaint volumes)
- Help track and chase any outstanding client actions or documentation (e.g. product data, compliance paperwork)
- Learning & Development
- Shadow Senior Account Managers on client interactions to build commercial and relationship management skills
- Build working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and carrier/dispatch processes
- Progress toward taking ownership of smaller accounts or a shared portfolio as experience grows
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Some experience in a customer service, client support, or administrative role (logistics/fulfilment/e-commerce experience is a plus but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail — comfortable juggling multiple queries at once
- Confident using email, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and happy to learn new systems (CRM, WMS)
- A calm, solutions-focused approach when things go wrong (delays, stock issues, complaints)
- Team player who's comfortable asking questions and taking direction from senior colleagues
Desirable
- Experience or interest in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce operations
- Familiarity with order management, WMS, or CRM platforms
- A relevant qualification (business, supply chain, logistics) — not essential if experience is strong
What We Offer
- NEST pension scheme, 25 days holiday allowance (excluding bank holidays), training/development budget, career progression path, lots of samples to taste!
- Structured progression path toward Account Manager, with mentoring from senior team members
- Hands‑on exposure to the operational side of e-commerce fulfilment — a strong foundation for a career in account management or supply chain
