Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 3PL Account Manager at Fodafilment. The Account Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of client accounts, coordinating logistics, handling supply chain operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and optimising supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Work within a specialist team to handle 3PL account queries and opportunities
- Document, knowledge share, and solve common issues within the warehouse environment and related supply chain components
- Build and maintain profitable relationships with our clients
- Execute a client engagement strategy, which includes: communication of their account performance, sales forecasting vs agreed SLAs, work order forecasts, bespoke requests, and ongoing client training on our cloud-based system
- Understand key client individual needs and address these, ensuring all requirements are exceeded
- Create an NPS (Net Promoter Score) system to monitor the satisfaction of all 3PL clients
- Meeting regularly with Account Managers to assess, analyse and develop actionable plans for loss prevention, client spending and continuous improvement
- Utilise the CRM system to capture all client communications
- Actively track month-on-month 3PL pricing
- Report account status, forecasts and 3PL opportunities to senior management
- Develop client report packs to present at Account Manager meetings
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B customer/client management
- Ideally, have knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and account management
- Knowledge of FMCG industry trends and practices
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions
- Proficiency in logistics software and technology – including CRM, Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets and ideally WMS, OMS or ERP
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related.
