The Role

We are looking for an electronics engineer with a passion for music technology to join our interfaces team. You’ll bring enthusiasm, solid academic knowledge and a drive to keep learning; we’ll help you apply that knowledge to build class‑leading products used by millions of musicians. You’ll work with Product Owners to help define features and requirements, produce system‑level designs including selection of key technologies and components, then go on to design the resulting schematics and PCBs. You’ll be responsible for planning your work and delivering against production schedules – this means you’ll have strong analytical and estimation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical peers. You’ll also spend a lot of your time designing and debugging hardware so systematic analysis, measurement and fault‑finding skills are essential. As an associate engineer, you’ll be embedded with a technically strong and committed engineering team, in a friendly, social and inclusive environment where our shared passion for music and music tech is front and centre. You’ll learn how to design high‑performance, cost‑optimised and reliable hardware that can be produced efficiently in high volume. As you gain experience, we’ll give you the opportunity to take on more responsibility and technical ownership and help you grow your career. You’ve got a track record of designing hardware, but you might be new to the audio industry. If you have the right design skills and can demonstrate them through your academic or personal projects, we’d like to hear from you. We support flexible working, but due to the hands‑on nature of the role you’ll need to attend our office in High Wycombe regularly.
