Our state-of-the-art Cath Lab is at the heart of our cardiovascular services, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist/Technician to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other interventional procedures. * Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety. * Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accurate information is provided. * Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and assist with emergency care as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records, including procedure documentation and post-procedure care. * Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations to ensure patient and staff safety. * Stay current with advancements in Cath Lab technology and best practices. Qualifications: * Certification in Cardiovascular Technology (RCIS or equivalent) preferred. * Valid state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or related field. * Minimum of [X] years of experience in a Cath Lab or similar clinical environment. * Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and procedures. * Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
