Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Assembly Operators to join our clients manufacturing site based within the Ebbw Vale area. Our client, a global organisation who have sites worldwide, offer a good working environment, progression opportunities and a day’s regular shift pattern.
To be considered for this role candidates will need experience having worked within a similar role (Production Assembly) and will need to be confident using hand-held tooling (hand held rivets, screwdrivers etc).
Hours of work include: 06:00am - 14:30pm Monday - Thursday. Early finish on Fridays of 12:30pm.
Duties of the role will include:
- Working across the assembly and sub assembly areas, working to assembly KPI’s and targets.
- Assemble components & product according to work instructions and production schedules.
- Inspect/test and verify parts for quality, fit, and alignment before and during assembly.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow standardized work instructions and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of assembled products to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all materials and tools are properly stored.
Desired criteria:
- Previous background within an assembly related role/manufacturing/production/factory background.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
We are fully compliant with eligibility to work in the UK regulations, accredited by the REC, members of the ALP and have a GLA licence.
