Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Assembly Operators to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Cwmbran area. Our client is a leading manufacturing company within the automotive sector, serving major OEMs across global markets such as Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.
Hours of work include: Monday - Friday following a 3 shift rotation consisting of mornings, nights & afternoons.
Duties:
- Working on the process flow assembly line.
- Assembly of medium to heavy components working to assembly KPI's and targets.
- Follow SOP's and assembly instruction sheets.
- Use of hand-held tools/rivets/drivers (hydraulic & pneumatic) to manufacture product.
- Quality inspection checks of finished product working to an array of quality systems and standards.
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment.
- Able to perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand.
- Able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours.
The desired candidates will have:
- Previous experience within assembly/production and able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.
- Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
