Are you a commercially driven leader with a passion for building high-value client relationships and driving transformational growth? We are partnering with a global data, analytics and AI-led consulting business to appoint a Director / Senior AVP – Strategic Engagement. This is a pivotal, client-facing leadership role focused on expanding strategic accounts and winning new business across the Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector throughout the UK and EMEA.

This is more than an Account Director role — it’s an opportunity to shape market presence, influence C-suite stakeholders, and position cutting-edge analytics solutions at the heart of business transformation.

The Opportunity

  • Operate as a trusted advisor and growth leader, owning key client relationships while driving new business across the region.
  • Lead strategic account growth across major Retail & CPG clients.
  • Originate and close high-value new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned to data, analytics, and AI solutions.
  • Engage and influence C-suite stakeholders, shaping long-term partnerships.
  • Position innovative, insight-led solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and client expansion.
  • Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities across UK & EMEA.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, including C-suite engagement.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle from opportunity through to deal closure.
  • Drive cross-sell and upsell initiatives across a broad analytics and consulting portfolio.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, bringing insight into Retail & CPG trends and transformation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to shape compelling, client-centric solutions.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and revenue performance against ambitious growth targets.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and market positioning within the analytics space.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within consulting, data & analytics, or commercial analytics environments.
  • Strong track record of growing and managing strategic accounts with clear revenue impact.
  • Demonstrated success in winning and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Deep understanding of the Retail and/or CPG landscape.
  • Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong C-suite engagement and stakeholder management capability.
  • Established network across UK & EMEA markets.
  • Ability to articulate a compelling value proposition around data, analytics, and AI.
  • Commercially astute, strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • High energy, resilient, and motivated by winning and delivering growth.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or advanced degree advantageous).
  • 8+ years’ experience across UK & European markets.
  • 5+ years in Account Management / Client Growth roles within Retail/CPG.
  • Proven track record of account expansion, revenue generation, and sales target achievement.
