Focus Training is looking for an experienced Electrical Trainer & Assessor to deliver bespoke programmes & apprenticeships. The successful candidate will be based in our newly developed Bristol Centre.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess learners against the 5357 Installation Electrician Level 3 Standard.
- Deliver classroom teaching and conduct on‑site assessments along with learners.
- Assess learners’ portfolios of evidence and ensure they are fully prepared to sit their End Point Assessment.
- Maintain a positive, flexible attitude and strong IT skills to manage electronic learner portfolios.
- Communicate and motivate learners, working both one‑to‑one and in groups when required.
A teaching and assessing qualification is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3.
- Have a Level 3 testing qualification, JIB Card (Electrician Grade minimum), and an assessor award – training and funding are available through induction if necessary.
- Minimum of five years of industry experience.
- Valid driving licence and own car – full mileage paid at 55p per mile.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
