Role Summary
Focus Training is looking for an experienced Plumbing Trainer & Assessor to deliver bespoke programmes & apprenticeships. The successful candidate will be based in our newly developed Bristol Centre.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess our apprentices to achieve the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician.
- Responsible for classroom teaching as well as site assessments with learners, assessing their portfolio of evidence and ensuring the learner is fully prepared to sit their End Point Assessment.
- Maintain a positive, flexible attitude, and possess good IT skills as all learner portfolios are electronic.
- Good communication and motivation skills are essential to work both one to one with learners and in groups when required.
Qualifications
- A teaching and assessing qualification will be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, and must hold WRAS and unvented qualifications.
- ACS accreditation would be advantageous.
- Extensive Plumbing experience is required, with a minimum of 5 years on the tools.
- Driving license and own car essential – Full mileage paid at 45p per mile.
- An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
