Senior Administrator
An established and growing financial planning business is looking to appoint a Senior IFA Administrator to support a Financial Adviser and wider team in delivering a high-quality service to clients.
This is a varied role covering both technical and client-facing administration, with exposure to more complex cases and the opportunity to continue developing your knowledge of financial planning and the wider business.
The role
You will work closely with the Financial Adviser, providing comprehensive administrative and technical support across the full advice process.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing client reports, valuations, quotations and recommendations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and systems
- Supporting advisers with the preparation and implementation of advice
- Working on more complex cases and producing clear, accurate documentation
- Researching information and preparing professional client reports
- Liaising directly with clients by telephone and face-to-face
- Keeping up to date with relevant industry and legislative changes
- Building strong relationships with clients, advisers and other key stakeholders
About you
We're looking for someone with solid experience within IFA / financial planning administration, who is comfortable working independently and supporting advisers across a varied workload.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to analyse information and solve problems effectively
- Confidence dealing with clients and professional stakeholders
- Good technical knowledge of the financial planning process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to make sound decisions
- A genuine interest in continuing to develop within financial services
There is also scope to continue progressing your technical knowledge and professional qualifications as part of the role.
