The Role
This is a pivotal position focused on managing and developing strategic partnerships, as well as supporting the onboarding of new distribution relationships. You’ll act as a key point of contact for partners, ensuring strong relationship management, effective governance, and successful delivery of joint objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop a portfolio of strategic partnerships, maximising performance and long-term value
- Identify, evaluate and onboard new distribution partners aligned to business strategy
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding projects, working cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery
- Act as the primary contact for assigned partners, both internally and externally
- Monitor partner performance and support reporting and insight generation
- Maintain strong governance across partnerships, including documentation and action tracking
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support new product and proposition development
- Deliver training and act as a subject matter expert on partnerships and associated products
- Support the wider partnerships strategy alongside senior leadership
- Attend partner meetings and industry events as required
About You
- Proven experience in a partnerships, account management, or business development role
- Strong track record of building and managing external relationships
- Experience within the insurance or wider financial services sector
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable presenting and explaining technical concepts clearly
- Commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills
- Motivated, driven and keen to develop further within the industry
