A growing and innovative financial services business is looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to join its expanding team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, a sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in working within a fast-paced, evolving environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting reporting, analysis and operational finance activity across the business.

Working closely with multiple departments, you’ll help turn complex datasets into meaningful insight, support investor and finance reporting, and contribute towards improving processes and reporting tools as the business continues to scale.

The Role

  • Supporting business reporting and analysis
  • Assisting with investor reporting, including data validation, KPI analysis and commentary
  • Working with financial and operational datasets to improve accuracy and consistency
  • Supporting finance reporting, funding processes and liquidity monitoring
  • Assisting with the development of reporting tools using Excel and BI platforms
  • Contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to support informed decision-making

About You

  • Previous experience or an academic background in finance, accounting or a related discipline
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence using Excel for reporting, analysis and modelling
  • A logical and inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and concisely
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment

Desirable experience includes:

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Awareness of SQL or data querying tools
