Transport Supervisor required to work weekends. Working 35 hours a week, Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday 7:00am - 12:00pm. Salary is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
Duties:
- Ensuring full support for drivers, confirming and monitoring movements
- Responsible for escalations and emergencies during shift
- Liaise with customer regarding updates and changes
- Calculate and log company vehicle mileage
- Assist drivers with any logistical issues
- Raise subcontractor requests for breakdowns
- Potential for some light planning duties for drivers
