Due to an exciting expansion, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to manage and grow HVAC-related accounts across a defined region.

This is a customer-facing, field-based role focused on relationship building, technical consultation, and revenue growth. The role will be to cover the Kent, Essex, Surrey and Hampshire region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and distributors.
  • Provide technical advice and propose the right solutions for customer needs.
  • Deliver presentations, training sessions, and attend trade events.
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular sales reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve any issues effectively.
  • Spend a minimum of 3 days per week visiting customers in the region.

Skills

  • Proven sales experience in HVAC / Building services / Technical Sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications.
  • Familiarity with reading technical drawings/specs.
  • Experience managing regional sales and hitting targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong communicator and skilled negotiator.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and customer focused.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
