Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Private Client

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive looking for your next career move?
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its established Wills & Inheritance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 3-7 years' PQE who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive environment. The role offers genuine opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility and long-term career progression.
The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload of private client matters, including:
- Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Tax planning
- Trust administration
- Court of Protection matters
Alongside your own caseload, you will also have the opportunity to take on a broader role within the team, including:
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members
- Supervising, mentoring and developing colleagues
- Contributing to the strategic development of the department
- Building strong relationships with existing referrers and professional contacts
- Supporting business development, networking and marketing initiatives
- Raising the profile of the department within the local and professional community
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Have 3-7 years' PQE within Private Client law
- Have strong experience across a broad range of private client matters
- Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, particularly around complex estates and tax planning
- Have experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior fee earners
- Possess excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Be commercially aware, with an interest in business development
- Be proactive, collaborative and committed to providing an exceptional client service
