Imports Coordinator required to join an established, busy and personable team asap, in what will be a fast-paced role. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4.30pm. Salary will be up to £33,000 per annum depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of imports, distribution, shipping coordination experience, and will be available to start work asap.

Duties:

  • Arrange and monitor international shipments
  • Liaising daily with the factory and internal team to ensure safe and timely arrival of shipments
  • Oversee customs declarations
  • Check stock levels
  • Coordinate the dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and on-time distribution
  • Daily liaison with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and freight forwarders
  • Deal with any immediate potential issues, keeping customers updated at all times
  • Review shipping charges
  • Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate records of shipping, logistics, and operational expenses

Benefits:

Up to £33,000 depending on experience. Pension.

Experience required:

  • Previous imports, logistics, shipping, distribution experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on high attention to detail
  • Calm, but proactive demeanour, working well under pressure
  • PC literate, and quick to learn new systems and processes
