Our fantastic client in Cardiff, an award winning Training Provider, are seeking a Qualified Assessor to join them within their Business & Administration pathway division. You will support qualification attainment to Business, Administration, Customer Service and Management learners across a broad range of settings including online, workplace and classroom based learning.
Candidates will need to have relevant training experience and a recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent). Our client offers a super working culture and industry leading benefits.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs.
- Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments.
- Complete Individual Learning Plans and outline personalised learning pathways.
- Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
- Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
- Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
What we're looking for:
- Relevant training experience and a recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
- Experience in delivering, assessing, or supporting apprenticeships in a workplace setting.
- Strong industry experience and expertise in Business Administration, Customer Service, or Management, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a learning and development context.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary will be between £25,000 - £29,000 dependant on experience.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:30pm, hybrid working (office, home and customer site).
