Our client based in Pangbourne is currently recruiting for a Dental Nurse to join their busy and friendly practice. This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly & innovative organisation.

Location: Pangbourne

Job type: Permanent

Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.15pm, Fri - 8.15am - 4.15pm, Sat - 8.15am - 2.15pm (this is on a rota basis so will be every 4-6 weeks and you will receive a day off in lieu)

Salary: Dependant on experience

As the Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing high quality dental nursing whilst assisting the dentists or therapists you have been appointed with, in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the 'Code of Ethics' of the British Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC requirements and recommendations to the dentists and their staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with all members of the dental team.
  • Ensuring that the surgical areas and equipment are regularly cleaned and maintained, including aspiration systems and autoclaves, paying all due attention to relevant legal and ethical codes, in addition to the practice policy in respect of cross infection control and Health & Safety.
  • Liaising with the Practice Manager on all matters concerning administration, pay and service conditions.
