Our client is looking for an experienced Office & Operations Manager to join their busy and personable team in Leigh-on-Sea.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
The Opportunity
This is a varied role working closely with the CEO and Directors, covering office management, business operations, senior management support, HR administration and CRM systems. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities across a busy business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the office, including facilities, suppliers, contractors, insurance and workplace procedures.
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the CEO and Directors, including diary management, meetings, travel and documentation.
- Coordinate HR administration including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, employee records, benefits, appraisals and leavers.
- Maintain company records and support data protection, compliance, licences and other administrative requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day administration and data quality of the company's Recruitment CRM and business systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and overall business efficiency.
- Support ad hoc projects and provide general administrative assistance across the business.
About You
- Previous experience in office management, operations, business administration or a similar role.
- Experience supporting senior management.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience with HR administration and employee processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using databases and business systems.
- A proactive, practical approach and the ability to work independently.
