Our client is seeking an experience full time Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team. You will work closely with their experienced Solicitors and Licensed Conveyancers, providing support across a broad range of conveyancing matters.

Your role as Legal Assistant will be:
Providing day-to-day support to fee earners across residential conveyancing transactions
Managing a wide range of administrative duties, including handling client calls and providing updates to clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
Opening and maintaining compliant case files
Drafting contract packs and supporting pre- and post-exchange administration
Preparing COTs, carrying out final searches, and lodging SDLT and AP1 forms
Handling Land Registry requisitions
Audio and copy typing, dictation, and diary managementThe Candidate
It is essential you have a minimum of 1 years conveyancing experience in a law firm for this role
Good working knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and procedures
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
Excellent communication and client care skills with a proactive and professional approach
