We are seeking a Junior Estimator to join a busy and personable team. The Estimator will be responsible for assisting in overseeing all contractual, financial, and procurement aspects of construction projects.

Estimator Duties:

Prepare and analyse project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for potential projects
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project information
Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders
Identify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering options
Review and approve contractor payment applications
Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work completedBenefits:

Proven experience as an Estimating in the metalwork or associated construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
