Transport Manager required to work night shift. Days and hours of work can be either, Sunday - Thursday, or Monday - Friday, 5pm - 2am or 6pm - 3am. Salary is up to £45,000 depending on experience.

Duties:

  • Line manage two supervisors
  • Ensuring full support for drivers, confirming and monitoring movements
  • Responsible for escalations and emergencies during shift
  • Log arrival times and other data onto Excel
  • Calculate and log company vehicle mileage
  • Assist drivers with any logistical issues
  • Raise subcontractor requests for breakdowns

The candidate will be forward thinking, reliable and a natural communicator.
