The predicted salary is between 27522 - 33638 £ per year.

Housing Community Safety Assistant required on a temporary to permanent basis, to join a small, close-knit team, who work extremely hard to provide customer focused housing community safety for residents. Working 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday, the salary will be 29,540.

Candidates applying for this role will have good Microsoft IT skills, an eye for detail when it comes to data, and a naturally inquisitive nature.

Duties:

  • Receive and respond to enquiries from members of the public, referring to an appropriate officer
  • Process incoming and outgoing post
  • Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring tenancy records are updated
  • Gather and review intelligence and evidence, including CCTV
  • Carry out visits to residents' homes, undertaking door knocking exercises, surveys, and community events offering advice and assistance in relation to community safety
  • Assist in preparation of documentation for legal action, taking witness statements
  • Provide a support role to victims of anti-social behaviour
  • A range of additional tasks provided upon agency registration

Experience required:

  • Able to use lifts, climb up to 15 floors of stairs, and not afraid of heights
  • Knowledge or experience in housing, anti-social behaviour, community services are advantageous, however not essential
  • Previous Administrative experience is beneficial
  • Good Microsoft IT skills, organised, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, any type of previous customer interaction is helpful
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
