Housing Community Safety Assistant required on a temporary to permanent basis, to join a small, close-knit team, who work extremely hard to provide customer focused housing community safety for residents. Working 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday, the salary will be 29,540.
Candidates applying for this role will have good Microsoft IT skills, an eye for detail when it comes to data, and a naturally inquisitive nature.
Duties:
- Receive and respond to enquiries from members of the public, referring to an appropriate officer
- Process incoming and outgoing post
- Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring tenancy records are updated
- Gather and review intelligence and evidence, including CCTV
- Carry out visits to residents' homes, undertaking door knocking exercises, surveys, and community events offering advice and assistance in relation to community safety
- Assist in preparation of documentation for legal action, taking witness statements
- Provide a support role to victims of anti-social behaviour
- A range of additional tasks provided upon agency registration

Experience required:
- Able to use lifts, climb up to 15 floors of stairs, and not afraid of heights
- Knowledge or experience in housing, anti-social behaviour, community services are advantageous, however not essential
- Previous Administrative experience is beneficial
- Good Microsoft IT skills, organised, and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, any type of previous customer interaction is helpful
- Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
