Our client, a highly successful national Technology company are seeking a Data Cabling Engineer to join them on a permanent basis, covering the Southampton region. This is an exciting, field based role where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of customer technology installation projects, including new premises openings and changes to existing estate in particular structured cabling works. There will some requirement for evening, overnight and weekend work, which you will receive x1.5 & x2 overtime pay for. What you\’ll be doing: Deliver on site projects to the customer spec and agreed statement of works, including structured cabling, data communications, IMAC work, and some software upgrades. Deliver works in line with Health and Safety standards. Keep the customer and Project Delivery team informed of project progress. Report any escalation issues to the relevant helpdesk for back office technical support. Update the Project Manager to ensure smooth communication for the Customer. Returning and packaging of decommissioned equipment to HQ for refurbishment. Completion of all relevant documentation including accurate records of stock deployment.Salary & Benefits: Salary is £31,000. Company Van Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
