Homes Advisor with excellent communication and customer service skills required for our established client on what will be a 6 - 12 month temporary contract to cover maternity leave. Hourly pay rate will be based on a yearly salary of £24,702 - £26,421 depending on experience. Working 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday. This is a mixed role to include office and home working, with visits to tenants' properties. A car driver with their own vehicle is required, and all visits are locally based.
Specific experience in repairs or housing is not essential; however, excellent customer service skills are essential, alongside common sense, ability to work on own initiative, and computer literacy.
Duties:- Visit tenants' property to inspect mould affected areas
- Removal of mould, only in very small areas; all PPE provided.
- Larger scale issues to be reported and followed up by another team
- Provide advice to residents following company guidance documents and training provided
- Assess and identify hazards within the home to report for follow up to alternative teams
- Record visit notes
£12.83 - £13.73 per hour; £24,702 - £26,421 per annum
Experience required:- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Housing, DIY, repairs, inspection, damp or mould assessor experience is desirable
- A confident and professional communicator
- Car driver with own transport
- Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
- PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
