Our client in Bridgend, a well established and growing leader in their sector, are recruiting for an experienced IT Technician to join them on a permanent basis at their offices in Bridgend. In this diverse role, you will support the development and deployment of IT provisions within the company, including end-users support, hardware, network, software and cyber security ; and also support the delivery of IT projects. Support all internal users with any IT related queries / issues in a professional and timely manner. Maintain the internal helpdesk and report helpdesk KPIs. Carry out monthly IT maintenance and audits. Assist in obtaining and maintaining cyber security certifications. Assist and contribute towards key IT projects. Qualified to HND or preferably degree level in IT / Computer Science. Competent user of Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint). Windows 11 experience. IT Helpdesk experience. Understanding of firewalls, networks, switches and patch-panels. Salary will be between £26,000 - £29,000 depending on experience. ~Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 13:30. ~25 days holiday a year plus bank. ~ Pension scheme above statutory rates. ~ Generous company performance bonus scheme. ~
