Assistant Logistics Manager

Assistant Logistics Manager required to support the Logistics Transport Manager. Days and hours of work, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm. Annual salary is up to £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience. This candidate will be experienced in logistics and transport, ready to step up to an Assistant Manager level, or offering previous management experience. Duties: Assist in managing supervisors, drivers and the wider team Support the Logistics Transport Manager Ensure full support for drivers, confirming and monitoring movements Liaise with customers regarding updates and changes Responsible for escalation and emergencies during shift Log arrival times and other data onto Excel Assist drivers with any logistical issues Raise subcontractor requests for breakdownsBenefits: Up to £45,000 Death in service PensionExperience: Transport, logistics experience is required CPC qualification is beneficial Management experience is desirable Good computer skills Excellent communicationPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
