Semi-Skilled MET Technician
to join a busy and established automotive workshop. This is a great opportunity for an experienced MET Technician looking to develop their skills further within a varied workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have at least
2 years' experience
working within a
bodyshop, accident repair centre or similar automotive setting . The Role Carry out
mechanical, electrical and trim (MET
)
work to a high standard. Assist with
vehicle dismantling, preparation and reassembly . Support general
body repair and vehicle preparation
work . Undertake
welding and fabrication
where required. Assist with
paint preparation and spraying
when necessary. Work alongside other workshop staff to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Carry out any additional workshop duties as required. About You Minimum
2 years' experience
in a similar MET or automotive role. Good practical knowledge of
mechanical, electrical and trim work . Experience within a
bodyshop, workshop or accident repair environment . Ideally comfortable with
welding, fabrication and general vehicle preparation . Reliable, adaptable and keen to learn
new skills. Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work. Able to work effectively as part of a team. Full UK driving licence
would be advantageous. What's on Offer £38,000 - £45,000 salary. Monday - Friday
