The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

To provide daily repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within various hospital locations whilst ensuring outstanding customer support and building long term relationships. Please note you must be resident in the UK with full right to work. Any applications from candidates not based in the UK will sadly be rejected. You also need UK hospital experience to apply for this role.

As the Biomedical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
  • Supporting the site manager / team leader as required and in achieving contractual KPI's
  • Completing repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
  • Completing all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in Althea procedures
  • Supporting customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital
  • Completing associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures
  • Travelling to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
  • Maintaining safe working practices within the hospital environment
  • Maintaining spare part stock wherever necessary
  • Scheduling and completing workload for customers within assigned area
  • Maintaining service documentation in line with business requirements
  • Meeting with OEM service staff and management when required

The successful candidate will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Certified OEM trainings
  • HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent Qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering
  • Excellent Customer Relationship skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 2-5 Years in healthcare environment with experience on medical equipment
