We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Depot/General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our clients U.
S sales and distribution facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing operational performance, inventory management, customer service, and financial performance while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will optimise sales reach and operational processes, and ensure the depot consistently delivers exceptional service to customers across France and Europe.
Key Responsibilities as Depot Manager Lead the overall operation of the depot, ensuring efficient day-to-day performance.
Manage warehouse, logistics, and customer service functions.
Monitor and improve operational KPIs focusing on sales, delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
Ensure inventory accuracy and effective stock control.
Manage budgets, operational costs and financial performance.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with French legislation.
Drive sales and business growth.
The person we are looking for: Proven experience in a General Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager or Distribution Centre Manager role.
Commercially minded with experience managing operational budgets and improving profitability.
Demonstrable experience implementing operational improvements and lean working practices.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Desirable Knowledge of inventory management systems and protocols.
Experience managing distribution operations.
Fluency in French and English.
