Imports Coordinator required to join an established, busy and personable team asap, in what will be a fast-paced role. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4.30pm. Salary will be up to £33,000 per annum depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of imports, distribution, shipping coordination experience, and will be available to start work asap.
Duties:
- Arrange and monitor international shipments
- Liaising daily with the factory and internal team to ensure safe and timely arrival of shipments
- Oversee customs declarations
- Check stock levels
- Coordinate the dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and on-time distribution
- Daily liaison with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and freight forwarders
- Deal with any immediate potential issues, keeping customers updated at all times
- Review shipping charges
- Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate records of shipping, logistics, and operational expenses

Experience required:
- Previous imports, logistics, shipping, distribution experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on high attention to detail
- Calm, but proactive demeanour, working well under pressure
