Our prestigious client is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Maidstone & surrounding areas; this person is responsible for carrying out field-based service and repairs on the company's equipment to a high standard in a professional and customer-focused way.This role will involve travelling to various customer locations in and around Maidstone and surrounding areas and on occasions further afield as the role requires.Location: Maidstone and surrounding areaSalary: CompetitiveContract: PermanentBenefits: Generousholiday allowance, Pension, Life Assurance, Company Vehicle & Fuel CardAs the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:Responsible for the configuration, quality, and accuracy of products.Perform preventive maintenance checks and adjustments.Perform product repairs and maintenance at client sitesProvide outstanding customer service in educating customers on product repair, maintenance and usage.Serve as product expert and brand ambassador.Ensure hardware, software and network of the product is functioning properly after each service.Properly record and replenish the inventory and spare parts in the service vehicle.Maintain the company supplied vehicle to ensure it's in good working order.The successful Field Service Technician will have the following related skills / experience:Associate degree in Electronics, Technical School certification as an Electronics Technician, or equivalent technical training preferred but not requiredMinimum 3 years of experience in a technical customer service positionTeam player attitude and taking accountabilityExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work well both independently and in a team environmentGood problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feetMaintain a safe and clean environment at all timesAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistanceFlexible schedule required Monday through Friday, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed by mutual agreementA full, clean driving license is essentialTPBN1_UKTJ
