The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

Housing Community Safety Officer required on a temporary to permanent basis, to join a small, close-knit team, who work extremely hard to provide customer focused housing community safety for residents. Working 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday, the salary will be £34,434.

Candidates applying for this role will have exceptional communication skills, with empathy but the ability to be firm, and remain implicitly organised.

Duties:

  • Work collaboratively with Tenancy Services Officers to deliver responsive and effective anti-social behaviour and community safety service to manage residents' expectations.
  • Manage anti-social behaviour caseload of issues.
  • Gather and review intelligence and evidence, including CCTV to identify anti-social behaviour and or criminal activity.
  • Carry out visits to residents' homes, undertaking door knocking exercises, surveys, and community events offering advice and assistance in relation to community safety and where necessary, escalate enforcement action.
  • Escalate cases.
  • Compose statements and prepare documentation that can be used in formal and legal action.
  • Provide support to victims of anti-social behaviour including attendance at Court.
  • A range of additional tasks provided upon agency registration.

Experience required:

  • Able to use lifts, climb up to 15 floors of stairs, and not afraid of heights.
  • Knowledge or experience in housing, anti-social behaviour, community services are advantageous, however not essential.
  • Previous Administrative experience is beneficial.
  • A car driver with own transport is essential.
  • Good Microsoft IT skills, organised, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with empathy but the ability to be firm.
  • Ability to multi-task a busy workload.
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks.
