Estimator / Project Manager to a small, busy and personable team. This combined role offers a unique opportunity to contribute at every stage of the construction projects, from cost estimation to financial management.
Duties:
- Developing detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects
- Working closely with project teams to gather necessary project information
- Preparing and submitting tender proposals with accuracy and efficiency
- Managing project budgets, cost control, and financial oversight & monthly valuations
- Conducting surveys, cost analyses, and ongoing financial reviews
- Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive quotes
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulations
Benefits:

- 25 days holiday (3-5 days to be held back for Christmas shutdown)

Experience required:
- Estimating various residential projects ranging from £500k to £2.5M
- Proven 3-5 years' experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel)
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Knowledge of take-off software such as Blue Beam-REVU or similar is essential
