An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and professional Clinical Nurse Educator . This integral role will develop, lead and implement the service\’s education and training plan for the centre. This post has a responsibility for supporting staff and enabling practice development based on best available evidence and is perfect for anyone wanting to develop and progress in their own career. Location: Aberdeen Relocation opportunity: Yes. 10% of annual salary reimbursed on first pay day Hours of work: 37.5 hrs per week Salary: £39009 – £44191 The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for: To develop and support the education and training needs of the clinical healthcare workforce. To contribute towards the delivery of the strategic aims and objectives set out in the organisational Clinical Education Strategy and Framework at the designated Service. To demonstrate clinical expertise and credibility in clinical practice by being a role model at all times. To participate in the development of policies and guidelines within the service To support the delivery of any research being carried out in the centre and across the organisation to promote evidence-based practice and quality service delivery The Clinical Nurse Educator will possess the following skills: Educated to degree level (level 6 or working towards) Registered Clinical Professional (registered with NMC, HCPC) Evidence of Practice Supervisor/Practice Assessor training Evidence of continuous professional development Experience in a clinical role in specialist healthcare Working knowledge of training needs analysis, planning and facilitation of adult based learning, mandatory and priority training requirements, different learning styles and application in delivering education and training Working knowledge of clinical assessment skills for clinical non-registered and registered staff Skilled in coaching and supporting staff and volunteers, appraisals, inductions, mentoring and preceptorship Benefits Company pension scheme 27 days holiday – rising to 33 with length of service plus bank holidays Option to buy and sell up to five days holiday Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Enhanced sick pay Corporate discount with hundreds of retailers and services Staff discount of 15% on new goods online Free uniform Structured induction programme and learning and development opportunities.
