We are looking to recruit a Trainer Coach for an established local company due to expansion.

This position offers the unique opportunity to influence the learning journey of apprentices, ensuring their progression and success through high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.

The role is mainly working from home with very occasional travel locally.

Key duties and responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality knowledge and competency-based assessments in line with Awarding Body and funding requirements.

Design and deliver off-the-job training sessions ensuring alignment with programme requirements.

Develop, upload, and evaluate resources to support learner progress.

Adapt teaching, coaching, and assessment approaches to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities, confidence levels, and learning styles.

Ensure all assessment evidence is valid, reliable, current, and sufficient.

Conduct monthly learner progress reviews, agreeing clear and measurable targets.

Track progression, identify risks early, and implement intervention plans.

Engage with employers to support learner achievement and maintain positive relationships.

Meet all contract, quality, and compliance requirements including recruitment, attainment, and caseload KPIs.

Review safeguarding and wellbeing concerns and escalate through correct channels.

Skills and experience:
TAQA (L3) or equivalent.

Proven experience assessing or tutoring vocational qualifications.

Occupational competence in relevant vocational sector(s).

Strong digital literacy, including use of e-portfolio systems, virtual learning environments, and online communication tools.

Ability to deliver high-quality remote/online and in-person learning as part of a blended model.

Knowledge of WBL Professional Standards (Wales).

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Full UK Driving Licence with Business Cover Insurance.

Desirable:
PGCE, coaching qualification, or equivalent.

Vocational sector qualifications.

Experience in the education/skills sector.
