Workday HCM Specialist – Workday Core HCM, Reporting, Benefits & Absence
Central London – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Are you a Workday professional with hands-on experience in HCM configuration, particularly in Reporting, Benefits, and/or Absence modules? We\’re hiring a Workday HCM Specialist to join a thriving organisation already live with Workday, offering the opportunity to shape and optimise their platform post-implementation.
Role Overview: As part of a dedicated in-house Workday team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the Workday HCM suite—primarily focusing on configuration within Reporting (including custom reports and dashboards), Benefits, and Absence. You\’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient Workday solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support Workday HCM, with a strong focus on:
- Workday Core HCM. Ideally you\’ll have experience with WorkdayBenefits and/or WorkdayAbsence modules
- Workday Reporting – custom reports, dashboards, calculated fields – ability to act as a Reporting SME building & maintaining workday reports.
- Partner with HR and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Support Workday release testing and ongoing optimisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
- Act as akey member of the teamfor relevant Workday modules
Requirements:
- Proven experience configuring Workday HCM with a focus on Reporting, Benefits, and/or Absence
- Strong understanding of Workday’s business processes and best practices
- Experience with Workday custom, Advanced reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Comfortable working onsite in Central London 3 days per week
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a post-Go-Live Workday environment
- Knowledge of other Workday modules or tools
