We are seeking an experienced Communications Professional to support a major Workday Financials transformation programme. This role will lead the development and execution of strategic change and communications activities that drive stakeholder awareness, engagement, and adoption throughout the deployment lifecycle. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience supporting a Workday Financials implementation plus any other Finance ERP transformation (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics Finance). They will be comfortable working with senior executives, programme leadership, finance stakeholders, and end users across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and maintain the programme communications strategy and integrated communications plan.
    • Define communication objectives, key messages, stakeholder journeys, and engagement activities.
    • Align communications activities with programme milestones, releases, testing phases, training, and go-live readiness.
  • Executive & Leadership Communications
    • Create executive narratives, leadership messaging, and strategic communications materials.
    • Draft briefing documents, talking points, presentations, and leadership updates.
    • Support programme sponsors and senior stakeholders with communication preparation.
  • Multi-Channel Communications
    • Deliver communications across a variety of channels including:
      • Email campaigns
      • Intranet content
      • Newsletters
      • Collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack, etc.)
      • Video messaging
      • Digital signage
      • Town halls and live events
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Develop stakeholder communication packs and engagement toolkits.
    • Partner with Change Management, Training, PMO, Finance, and Programme teams.
    • Ensure consistent messaging across business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Content Development
    • Produce:
      • FAQs
      • Release notes
      • Business impact communications
      • Adoption messaging
      • Training and readiness communications
      • Go-live communications
      • Hypercare communications
  • Events & Town Halls
    • Create content for town halls, roadshows, leadership forums, and programme events.
    • Develop presentation materials and speaker notes.
    • Coordinate communications support for key programme milestones.

Required Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years' experience in Communications, Change Communications, Internal Communications, or Transformation Communications.
  • Proven experience supporting a Workday Financials implementation programme.
  • Strong experience creating executive-level communications and leadership narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communications plans.
  • Experience producing stakeholder packs, FAQs, release notes, and programme communications collateral.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leaders.
  • Excellent written communication and content development capabilities.

Highly Desirable

  • Previous experience on multiple Workday Financials deployments.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-country transformation programmes.
  • Understanding of finance operating models, financial processes, and ERP transformations.
  • Familiarity with organisational change management methodologies.
