Job Title: Senior Workday Financials Expert

Location: London (3 days onsite per week)

Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financials Expert to join a growing team. This is a key role for an individual who will take ownership of the Workday Financials platform, driving optimisation, enhancements, and best‑practice usage across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Financials, providing hands‑on support, configuration, and optimisation.
• Lead and deliver enhancements, upgrades, and new functionalities within the Workday Financials suite.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver effective resolutions.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure Workday aligns with business processes and compliance requirements.
• Support training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting and configuring Workday Financials.
• Expertise across core Financials modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Customers, Suppliers, Banking, Expenses, Procurement).
• Strong understanding of financial processes and principles—finance background highly preferred.
• Experience with integrations, reporting, and Workday security.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (highly advantageous).
• Workday certifications.
