Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Workday Data Consultant or Lead to join a high-impact transformation programme kicking off in September. You will take ownership of Workday data migration, transformation, and integration activities during a critical phase of a Workday deployment. This role requires someone hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable interfacing with stakeholders across IT and HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Workday data workstream across multiple modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Talent, etc.)
- Define and execute data migration strategies, including mapping, cleansing, extraction, and validation
- Manage data cutover activities and contribute to overall programme readiness
- Collaborate with implementation partners, internal teams, and third-party vendors
- Build and maintain detailed documentation for all data processes
- Proactively flag risks and ensure data integrity throughout each phase of deployment
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Workday Data Consultant or Lead on at least 2 full-cycle implementations
- Expertise in Workday data migration and transformation techniques (EIB, iLoads, Workday Studio beneficial)
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll data domains
- Ability to manage data quality and validation at scale
- Confident communicator able to lead workstreams and influence stakeholders
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
Desirable (Nice-to-Have):
- SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Familiarity with UK government or public sector environments
- Workday certifications (Core HCM, Advanced Reporting, etc.)
- Strong Excel, SQL or other data manipulation tools
