We’re looking for an accomplished Salesforce Technical Architect to take a leading role in shaping and delivering large-scale Salesforce solutions as part of a major transformation initiative. This position blends strategic oversight with hands-on technical leadership, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take full ownership of Salesforce technical architecture across programmes, from design through to delivery
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions across:
    • Data models and architecture
    • Integrations, APIs, and connected systems
    • Security design and access frameworks
    • Custom development (Apex and Lightning components)
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams, promoting best practices and high-quality code
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Lead architecture governance, including design authority, reviews, and quality assurance
  • Oversee key technical areas such as:
    • Data migration strategy and data integrity
    • Third-party integrations and AppExchange products
    • System performance, optimisation, and scalability
  • Work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including discovery sessions and proof-of-concept development

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture (12+ years), with deep Salesforce expertise (10+ years)
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, large-scale Salesforce programmes in a Technical Architect capacity
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities
    • Integration approaches (APIs, middleware, web services)
    • Data modelling and migration best practices
    • Security, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Solid development background, including:
    • Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Experience with languages such as Java, .NET, or similar
    • Experience working with Batch Apex and asynchronous processing patterns
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead key technical decisions
