Role Overview We're looking for an experienced

Workday Financials Data Analyst to join a major Workday Financials transformation programme on an initial

6-month contract .

You'll play a key role in supporting data migration, validation, reconciliation and reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data throughout the programme lifecycle.

This role requires someone who is hands-on, technically strong and confident working with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Workday Financials data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
  • Analyse and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the programme.
  • Work closely with Finance, IT and project teams to resolve data quality issues.
  • Support testing, cutover and deployment activities from a data perspective.
  • Produce and maintain documentation for data mapping, validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Identify data risks and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Support reporting and data analysis across the Workday Financials platform.

Essential Skills & Experience

Certified in Workday Financials (Essential).

  • Proven experience as a

Workday Financials Data Analyst or similar role.

  • Strong experience supporting Workday Financials implementations or optimisation programmes.
  • Experience with data migration, data validation, reconciliation and cleansing within Workday Financials.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Financials data structures and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.

Desirable

  • Active

SC Clearance , or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.

  • Experience working within regulated or security-conscious environments.
  • Experience with Workday Financials reporting, EIBs and data loads.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting Finance transformation programmes.
