Key Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for Workday Recruiting, managing maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing optimisation
- Configure and maintain recruiting-related business processes, security policies, and system functionality
- Assess and manage change impacts, following governance processes to minimise risk and support continuous improvement
- Support automation initiatives and reduce off-system processes across business units
- Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and stakeholder sessions both virtually and onsite
- Collaborate with Functional Specialists and wider support teams to deliver effective Workday solutions
- Utilise Workday Community and Success Plans to stay aligned with best practices and product developments
- Configure and maintain Recruiting-related reports and dashboards
- Manage data corrections and uploads using EIB
- Test new functionality, upgrades, and Workday releases
- Manage incidents and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve overall system usability
- Support training materials, user guides, FAQs, recorded demos, and SharePoint content
- Contribute to wider HR systems projects including new functionality, integrations, and transformation initiatives
Who We Are Looking For
Essential
- Strong experience supporting and optimising Workday Recruiting
- Experience configuring Workday business processes and security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across HR and the wider business
- Experience driving process improvement and simplification within HR systems
- Understanding of data management and EIB uploads
- Experience supporting testing, upgrades, and release management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working within complex, multi-stakeholder organisations
Desirable
- Experience with broader HR systems and integrations including payroll, time recording, or recruitment platforms
- Experience within multinational or multi-business organisations
- Exposure to organisational change projects including mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures
- Workday Pro – Recruiting certification (or working towards certification)
- Experience supporting wider Workday transformation or optimisation programmes
