We’re looking for an experienced Workday Financial Consultant to join a growing team delivering and optimising Workday Financials solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on configuration experience across Workday Finance modules who enjoys partnering with Finance stakeholders to design scalable, high-impact solutions.

You’ll play a key role across implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support, working closely with Finance leaders and technical teams to ensure Workday delivers real business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional workshops with Finance stakeholders across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
  • Configure Workday Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, Assets, and Banking & Settlement
  • Support Chart of Accounts design, accounting rules, allocations, and financial reporting structures
  • Manage data migration and validation activities including suppliers, customers, open balances, and historical financial data
  • Partner with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between Workday and external systems (ERP, payroll, banking, tax platforms)
  • Develop Workday financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support Finance leadership
  • Configure business processes, approvals, and financial controls aligned with audit and compliance requirements
  • Support system testing, UAT, defect resolution, and go-live readiness
  • Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to finance users and stakeholders
  • Support post-go-live stabilisation and optimisation of Workday Financials
  • Engage with senior stakeholders including CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong expertise across Workday Financial Management modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Banking & Settlement)
  • Hands-on Workday configuration experience including Business Processes, Security, and Financial setup
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)
  • Experience delivering Workday Financials implementations or post-go-live support
  • Knowledge of multi-entity and multi-currency financial environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
