Role – We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Service Cloud & Agentforce Technical Architect to lead the technical architecture for a major enterprise customer service transformation programme.
This senior, hands-on role combines Salesforce Service Cloud and Agentforce architecture with Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD, Trunk-Based Development, enterprise integration and release governance.
You will own the target-state Salesforce architecture, providing technical leadership from solution design through build, testing, automated deployment and production readiness, while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with enterprise engineering standards.

Responsibilities
- Service Cloud & Agentforce Architecture
- Own end-to-end technical architecture across Salesforce Service Cloud and Agentforce, defining target-state application, integration, security, data and environment architecture.
- Architect Service Cloud solutions across Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Digital Engagement, automation and AI-assisted customer service.
- Lead Agentforce architecture across agents, topics, actions, prompts, grounding, orchestration, workflows, escalation and human hand-off.
- Dev Ops, CI/CD & Engineering
- Define Salesforce Dev Ops strategy across Azure Dev Ops, Salesforce DX, Git and CI/CD, including environment management, release governance and deployment automation.
- Establish Trunk-Based Development, pull-request governance, automated quality gates, versioning and rollback strategies.
- Govern deployment tooling including Copado, Gearset or equivalent Salesforce Dev Ops platforms.
- Technical Leadership & Governance
- Govern technical designs, integrations, code quality, test automation, security and release readiness throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure architecture meets requirements across performance, resilience, security, observability, compliance, maintainability and Salesforce platform limits.
- Mentor technical leads and developers, resolving complex design challenges and supporting cutover, production deployment and post-release assurance.
Key Skills
- Extensive enterprise technology experience, ideally 10+ years overall with 6+ years hands-on Salesforce, including expert-level Salesforce Service Cloud architecture and implementation.
- Strong hands-on Agentforce expertise covering agent configuration, prompts, actions, topics, grounding, orchestration and service workflows.
- Deep Salesforce technical knowledge across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, REST/SOAP APIs, data modelling and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong Azure Dev Ops experience across Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, release management and deployment governance.
- Proven expertise in Trunk-Based Development and CI/CD automation, including quality gates, release approvals, environment management, versioning and rollback.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git and Copado/Gearset, alongside strong knowledge of Dev Sec Ops, Salesforce security, permissions, sharing, compliance and platform governance.
- Strong technical leadership, architecture governance and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide distributed technical teams and influence complex solution decisions.
