Role – We are seeking experienced Test Engineers/Quality Assurance Engineers with hands-on expertise in Avaloq or similar core banking platforms. You will be responsible for defining, executing, and improving QA and QE strategies to ensure that all application enhancements, patches, and integrations meet high standards of quality, performance, and compliance. This is a great opportunity to drive quality excellence across business-critical Avaloq systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary development, business, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to validate Avaloq application functionality.
- Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of new features, releases, and patches.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or similar).
- Define and maintain quality metrics, reports, and dashboards to track performance and improvement areas.
- Continuously improve QA processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Stay updated on Avaloq product releases and best practices, applying them to ongoing projects.
- Communicate testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into all stages of the application lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering, preferably in financial services or banking.
- Hands-on experience with Avaloq or similar financial software platforms.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black box, white box, grey box).
- Experience using automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# for test automation scripting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
