Position: ServiceNow Project Manager - ITSM/ITAM

Employment Type: Contract

Start: ASAP (June/July 2026)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: London or West Midlands, UK (Hybrid - 3 days per week office)

Role – We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major ServiceNow transformation and migration programme, focused on modernising legacy ITSM processes and implementing AI-enabled capabilities across enterprise operations. This role will drive the successful migration of legacy workflows onto a strategic ServiceNow platform, ensuring process standardisation, operational optimisation, and alignment with enterprise governance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Leadership & Delivery
    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale ServiceNow transformation initiatives, including planning and governance, delivery execution, risk and dependency management, budget and resource control.
    • Manage complex migration programmes across multiple IT and operational domains.
  • ServiceNow Transformation & Migration
    • Oversee migration and transformation activities across Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Patch Management, Cloud Workflows, and End-to-End process integration.
    • Drive standardisation and optimisation of legacy processes using native ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
    • Collaborate with IT Operations teams, Asset Management and Risk teams, Infrastructure and Cloud Operations, Business stakeholders, and delivery partners.
    • Manage relationships with ServiceNow and third-party vendors.
  • Change Management & Adoption
    • Lead organisational change initiatives, including communication and engagement plans, training and adoption strategies, and operational readiness activities.
    • Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new ServiceNow-based processes.
  • Governance, Compliance & Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all solutions align with enterprise governance standards, regulatory and audit requirements, and data integrity and compliance controls.
    • Oversee UAT and integration testing, performance and migration validation, and defect management and resolution.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex IT transformation programmes.
  • Strong experience leading ServiceNow implementation and migration programmes and enterprise ITSM transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
  • Experience across ITSM, SAM, HAM, IRM/GRC, and cloud workflow environments.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale migration programmes, cross-functional delivery teams, and complex dependencies and governance requirements.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
