Role – We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions within a complex financial services environment. This is a senior architecture role responsible for defining end-to-end ServiceNow architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and supporting digital transformation initiatives across multiple ServiceNow modules. You will provide technical leadership, establish governance frameworks, and guide development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Strategy
    • Define and maintain enterprise-wide ServiceNow architecture aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
    • Design end-to-end solutions across: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, IRMT, PRM, BCM, Source-to-Pay (S2P).
    • Translate business objectives into scalable platform solutions and transformation roadmaps.
    • Establish architecture standards, governance processes, and design principles.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers and delivery teams.
    • Produce architecture artefacts, technical designs, blueprints, and governance documentation.
    • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and platform standards.
    • Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical governance forums.
  • Platform Design & Integration
    • Design and oversee integrations using: REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Data Import frameworks.
    • Support integration with enterprise monitoring, discovery, and operational management tools.
    • Drive platform scalability, performance optimisation, and technical innovation.
  • CMDB & Governance
    • Define CMDB and CSDM strategies.
    • Ensure data quality, configuration management, and service mapping standards are maintained.
    • Establish governance controls for platform stability, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Delivery & Transformation
    • Support Agile delivery teams through the full project lifecycle.
    • Provide oversight across implementations, upgrades, releases, and transformation programmes.
    • Ensure security, compliance, performance, and resilience requirements are embedded within all solutions.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years as a ServiceNow Architect.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation programmes.
  • Strong expertise across: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, IRMT, PRM, BCM, S2P.
  • Hands-on experience with: ServiceNow development, Platform integrations, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Workflows, Business Rules and Client Scripts.
  • Strong understanding of: CMDB, CSDM, CI relationships, Data governance.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Servers, and enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
