Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and optimisation of enterprise SAP landscapes across a large-scale SAP transformation programme. This is a senior architecture role responsible for defining technical strategy, ensuring platform scalability, security, and performance, and driving the successful delivery of SAP solutions across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, integration platforms, and enterprise applications. Working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, Basis teams, developers, and integration specialists, you will provide technical leadership across the full SAP ecosystem while ensuring alignment with business and technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Define and govern enterprise-wide SAP technical architecture.
- Lead architecture decisions across:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- SAP BTP
- SAP Fiori/UI5
- SAP Integration technologies
- Establish standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, impact assessments, and technical design workshops.
- Platform, Infrastructure & Performance
- Design and optimise SAP landscapes including:
- Development, Test, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments
- High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
- SAP HANA architecture and performance optimisation
- Provide guidance on system sizing, scalability, security, and operational resilience.
- Integration & Cloud Architecture
- Define end-to-end integration strategies across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Architect solutions using:
- SAP BTP Integration Suite
- SAP PI/PO
- REST, SOAP, and OData APIs
- IDocs, RFCs, and event-driven architectures
- Support cloud and hybrid deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Development Governance
- Provide technical leadership across:
- ABAP
- SAP Fiori/UI5
- OData Services
- CDS Views
- SAP Basis
- Enforce development standards, reusable frameworks, and quality controls.
- Mentor technical teams and guide multi-vendor delivery environments.
- Security & Compliance
- Define SAP security architecture and technical governance standards.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee authentication, authorisation, encryption, and SSO strategies.
